Happy Memorial Day!

Hope you all had a great memorial day. We didn't do too much, I am still not feeling well enough to do much. But I did take the long weekend to stamp.

Today's challenge on SCS was wet watercoloring. It was the first time I have tried this technique, and I love it.

I used my best blossoms set with SU cameo coral, ctmh sweet leaf, crystal blue, Versacolor canary inks. Overall I am happy with this card. I really like the bright colors.

I will definitely use this technique again.

Chocolate Birthday

A friend had work had a birthday yesterday, and this is the card I came up with for her. I really love using the Cuttlebug Swirl background in brown for anything to do with chocolate. It reminds me of frosting. This was the first time I have used the liquid applique. I really like the result, but I should have done it a little thicker. I might have to make some more cards with this set, just to play with that. I don't think I have any other stamps that would work with it.

The blogging adventure begins

I have been saying for a while that I wanted to start a blog, but just never have. Today is as good of a day to start as any. I have been enjoying so many great blogs from the stamping world that I had to jump in.
